Plans are well under way for the 2010 annual FOOLS convention, which will be held in Orlando , Florida (September 22nd – 26th). This year’s hosting chapters are Hernando Hommteam FOOLS, Treasure Coast FOOLS & Central Florida FOOLS.
What an appropriate place to hold this event…where it all began, 15 years ago.
The “host hotel” will be the Rosen Plaza Hotel (
http://www.RosenPlaza.com). We have made arrangements for our members to be able to stay at the hotel three days prior as well as three days post convention at the same daily convention rate. This will work out well for members who are planning that extended vacation. The room rates are $103 per night (plus tax) double occupancy, kids under 17 are free. $20 (plus tax) if you have an extra person per room.
We have a “very special” Key Note Speaker for our opening ceremonies!!!!
Point Orlando (
http://www.pointeorlando.com) is within a very short walking distance from the hotel. Some of the local attractions are Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, MGM Studios & Epcot.
